Atlantis for a long time has used under our name the phrase “Water Management for Life”, it is interesting to know though that when Atlantis was founded in 1986 it was done so promoting a product, the Original Drainage Cell that had as its main purpose the implementation of roof gardens. Since then we have developed more products and applications related specifically to water. However as we have grown and our technologies have successfully been introduced into more and more applications we have come to do much more than just simple water management, especially more so with our latest Gro-Wall applications for vertical gardens. Atlantis believes that we have much more to contribute to the world than just Water Management, among the concepts we are promoting is Environmentally Neutral Design, which in its several facets includes aspects of neutrality beyond just Carbon, but also Water and Thermal footprints. |

Atlantis Certified for Potable Water
Atlantis certified for Potable Water Atlantis is the first company to obtain AS/NZ 4020:2005 for “Products for use in contact with drinking water” in our industry segment. This segment is referred to modular underground water storage systems, as well as this being extensive for most of our product range as practically all of our products are made with similar extremely high quality recycled material. This certification is composed of a battery of different test which requires passing several tests including these mentioned below:
- Taste of Water Extract
- Appearance of Water Extract
- Growth of Aquatic Micro-organisms
- Cytotoxic Activity of Water Extract
- Mutagenic Activity of Water Extract
- Extraction of Metals
Our product passed each one of these test with flying colours. At Atlantis we continue to look forward at being the industry innovators and leading the way.

New Atlantis Websites
Please visit our new website that has been updated several weeks ago. In our constant efforts to present information to our clients in the best possible way we have redone our main website, as well as adding and updating our several related microsites. One of the important challenges we have at Atlantis is being able to communicate our message to the different interested people we need or would like know information related to our solutions. These vary from the highest levels of governments around the world, to architects, engineers, to domestic and retail clients. In addition to this we have such varied applications that go from Vertical Gardens, to Stormwater Harvesting, to various types of landscaping measures, to name a few and all of which are related to concepts of Water Neutral Design.

Atlantis Provides Technical Assistance for Government Grants
For the Australian market, Atlantis in the interest of being to assist potential projects that not only are good for the environment but are also in line with our philosophy of Water Neutral Design has found it of interest of being able to connect people that require technical assistance to obtain grants related to projects they may have. Among the projects that have been and are able to receive the grants are the following:

Incomprehensible Global Warming

Our cities are three dimensional deserts of concrete and glass, covered with 80% of impermeable roof areas and with roads that amplify the heat. This causes heavy damage to our already frail environment. They convert our living rivers into concrete death channels spreading contamination because of their impermeability.
Industries are designed without Environmental Ethics. Our civilizations are left with only approximately 2% of the natural green areas to cultivate gardens. This causes erratic weather and only add to global warming and the contamination of the ocean.
Our modern society has become a spiritual desert. All this has to change fast with an environmental revolution. We cannot leave the future of our environment in the hands of politicians, we need to do it by ourselves. We have to accept responsibility with better discipline. Our ancestors and a large part of this generation did almost nothing to prevent these catastrophes. They induce it.
We follow like sheep to accept this evil and the injustice without question.The Universities that are suppose to provide knowledge has become an intellectually fragmented kingdom without any spirituality. All this and more needs to be changed in our minds. We need to reflect beauty,totality and goodness. So that we can see beauty and goodness, touch beauty and do beauty and goodness. The moment has arrived for us to take our destiny in our hands, to start a revolution to change the face of this planet, to give birth to new generations, with new values of peace, fraternity and harmony for all. |

Atlantis Flo-Screen Greywater Diverter
Atlantis is marketing what must be the most cost effective greywater reuse device that filters and recycles water which would cause contamination or be wasted. This water makes up the bulk of household wastewater and is normally released into the sewerage system along with the ‘black’ wastewater.
Its unique design allows your greywater from the laundry, shower and handwash basin to pass through. be used for other beneficial purposes around the house, such as garden or lawn irrigation. The treated greywater can be reused immediately, or stored temporarily in an Atlantis Infiltration Tank. Water that goes through this system is required to be used in subsurface irrigation.
This allows for individual homes to reduce their water footprint. On a regional scale, greywater reuse is an extremely valuable element of water management. It reduces the wastewater treatment plant load, the discharge of sewage via ocean outfalls, and most importantly, it reduces the pressure on the potable water supply system, allowing our existing resources to be managed more efficiently.
Its compact design which is easy to maintain and has numerous fail safe features protecting it from causing damage to itself or the environment.
